New Employee Orientation Process & Checklist
The final and equally important step of the hiring process is ensuring that the new Recreation Professional receives a thorough orientation to the Steering Committee, their co-workers, the community and their job duties. Successful employees are given the tools they need to achieve these goals. The orientation and ongoing support are essential tools that employers can provide new employees.
Time Tracking & Accountability
Most employers will have an established method of tracking hours/time worked by their employees. This is an important HR process as the CSRC is often working independently and out of school hours. A detailed tracking system helps to increase communication between the CSRC and their Supervisor and also ensures the program requirement of full-time employment is being met.
