SPRA Afterschool Program Directory

SPRA identified the need for the creation of a recreation-based directory to raise awareness of opportunities available for children and youth between the ages of 5 and 18, delivered during the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. over the school year.

Growing Young Movers

The community plays a vital role in supporting the development of Physical Literacy. Not only can the community assist in the development of fundamental skills for children and youth, the community offers a prime environment for children and youth to participate and express their Physical Literacy. Community leaders can learn ways to contribute to the development of Physical Literacy and provide opportunities for our children and youth.

HIGH FIVE® training provides participants with nationally recognized certification that will assist them in working with children’s programs in the sport and recreation industry.
