National Indigenous History Month

In June, Canadians celebrate National Indigenous History Month to honour the history, heritage and diversity of Indigenous peoples in Canada. It is also an opportunity to recognize the strength of present-day Indigenous communities.

The Northern Sport, Culture and Recreation District, celebrates the diverse and rich history of the Indigenous groups that have lived in Northern Saskatchewan since time immemorial.  In partnership with MBC, the NSCRD is profiling Indigenous leaders as part of National Indigenous History Month.

To Listen you can download the file in the menu on the left, or click on a poster to go directly to MBC to streaming service.
