Culture Days Legacy Grant

CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
 
New in 2020, this new Culture Days Legacy program has been designed to support organized cultural activity, such as a multi-week beading or music program, offered virtually over a five-week period leading up to Culture Days. The program aims to develop an new, ongoing cultural program – or legacy – in a community, as well as develop participant leaders to help carry the program forward. In its pilot stages, this program will only be offered in the north this year.

 


Your Project will be:
5 weeks in length starting in July.
Delivered online
Be a "hands" on learning opportunity.

Your project plan will include: 
Type of cultural activity to be delivered virtually;
How this cultural activity would make a difference to participants and/or northern Saskatchewan;
A summary of a five week delivery plan;
Size of participant group and age groups recommended

Funder recognition plan

Promotion Plan
Budget: $5000.00 
Eligible expenses include:
Programming supplies and equipment
Facilitator Costs ( carfac rates)
Technology costs ( if applicable)
 
Be willing and able to:
Provide video footage, or photographs of completed projects by participants for submission of an online Culture Days video/ project montage.
Projects that target youth will be given priority. 
Communities whom never participated in Culture Days will have priority.

Submission Deadline: June 30th 2020 
Start Date: July 2020
End Date : August 2020
Submission of follow-up and completed project photo's and videos August 30th 2020
