Our Service Areas
In 2006, Building Better Communities was an initiative created by Sask Sport Inc., SaskCulture Inc., and Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association Inc. to review the sport, culture and recreation delivery system in Saskatchewan. The current delivery system, which includes recreation regions, sport zones, along with many different local, regional and provincial cultural organizations, has been operating this way for the past 30 years.
Athabasca Area

- Uranium City, Camsell Portage, Fond du Lac, Stony Rapids, Black Lake, Wollaston Lake, Hatchet Lake.
Beaver River Area
(11 Communities)
- Patuanak, English River, Pinehouse, Ile a la Crosse, Canoe Lake, Jans Bay, Cole Bay, Beauval, Dore Lake, Sled Lake, Green Lake.
Clearwater Area
(12 Communities)
- Descharme Lake, Clearwater River, La Loche, Turnor Lake, Birch Narrows, Black Point, Bear Creek, Garson Lake, Michel Village, Buffalo River, St. George's Hill, Buffalo Narrows.
Neyanun Area
(9 Communities)
- Sandy Bay, Pelican Narrows (NV), Pelican Narrows (PBCN), Deschambault Lake, Creighton, Denare Beach, Sturgeon Landing, Cumberland House (NV), Cumberland House (CN).
Sagastew Area
