- Responding to a need for help wherever or whenever it is expressed.

- Confronting and dealing with issues and concerns as they arise.
- Eliminating gossip by dealing with facts openly.
- Recognizing confidential matters as such and, therefore, keeping this information as confidential.
- The understanding that differences of opinion should not affect friendship.

- Building an organization that can be relied upon.
- Maintaining the flow of information back and forth between the NRCC and the communities.
- Answering questions about the use of any resources available for sport, culture, and recreation in the north.
- Accepting responsibility for decisions of the organization for people we serve (Elders, Seniors, Adults, Youth, Children).
- Being accountable for personal behavior and conduct as in representing the organization.
Professional Attitude and Competence
- Participating in training programs that will improve personal knowledge and expertise.
- Using their skills and good judgment in making organizational decisions that benefit the communities.
- Understanding that professional conduct relates to inside and outside of the boardroom.
- Action as role models through expressed enthusiasm for the positive role recreation can play in our community life.

- Behavior that shows fairness in the treatment of all people.
- Actions that give people a change to contribute what they have to offer.
- Respecting the thoughts and opinions of all people no matter that their position in life.
Recognizing and respecting our language and cultural connection
- Accepting guidance and help from each other in time of need.
- Acknowledge the wisdom of community elders in helping to improve life.
- Asking for guidance through prayer as a regular part of decision making (i.e Board Meetings).
